Specimen Ophiopyrgus australis Koehler, 1900
Holotype - Belgica, st. 2, sample 301, 70°33’S, 89°22’W, 600 m, May 1898 - RBINS, OPH.158 - The soft tissue had degraded as a consequence of its long preservation (and perhaps as a consequence of bad fixation and/or decrease of alcohol concentration). It resulted from this that all the ossicles fell apart when the specimen was handled. Hence it is not possible to provide habitus photographs of the specimen.

Specimen Ophiopyren regularis Koehler, 1900
Original name: Ophiopyren regularis Koehler, 1900 synonym of current name: Ophioleuce regulare (Koehler, 1901) - Paralectotype - Belgica, stn 6, sample 413, 71°15’S, 87°39’W, 100 m, May 1898 - NOTE: I opted for photographying the paralectotype because it is much larger and in better condition than the holotype that was in the same tube (Cédric d'Udekem d'Acoz).
