Specimen Podochela monodi Capart, 1951
Current name: Achaeus monodi (Capart, 1951) ; Atlantique Sud, station 28, 5°55'S - 12°01'E, 8.ix.1948: 1 adult male syntype RBINS INV.116888. Original name: Podochela monodi Capart, 1951. There are ambiguities in the account of Capart (1951), but it seems that one male of station 28 and one of station 30 should be currently be considered as syntypes. The one illustrated herein (of st. 28) might be designated as lectotype in he future.

Chiromantes angolense (de Brito Capello, 1864) [= Sesarma angolensis de Brito Capello, 1864). Male. Liberia, Greenville [5°01' N, 9°02' W], Sinoe River, 20 Apr. 1982, coll. P. Kestemont [labelled as Goniopsis cruentata (Latreille, 1803) by P. Kestemont] (RBINS, INV.113249).

Specimen Synalpheus comatularum (Haswell, 1882)
Labeled as "topotypes", Cape York, det. Haswell 1882. RBINS, INV.111932. There are 2 specimens in the vial: 1 with chelipeds and 1 without chelipeds, and detached chelipeds: 2 major and one minor one. These specimens are really topotypical and probably even be syntypes. The date 1882 on the label might simply refers to the time of registration.

Specimen Galathea australiensis Stimpson, 1858
Spcimen labeled "Galathea australiensis Stimpson, Port Jackson, Haswell type 1882". (RBINS, INV.14022). The tube includes two specimens. the one illustrated herein is male. The specimen is truly topotypical since the type of Stimpson (1858) was collected in Port Jackson.
