The present specimen belongs to a batch of crustaceans received in 1882 by RBINS from Haswell, and which were abusively registered as "topotypes".

This specimen, which is a male belong to a batch of crustaceans received from Haswell by RBINS in 1882, and which are registered as "topotypes". The present specimen is really a topotype, as the original material of Stimpson (1857) came from Port Jackson.
