Mictyris cf. brevidactylus Stimpson, 1858
Amboine, coll. van Langsberge nr. 507. Initially identified as Mictyris longicarpus by Pelseneer in 1886. 6 females. RNINS INV. 113081. The specimens were examined and photographed by C. d'Udekem d'Acoz in 2016. They look very similar to Mictyris brevidactylus Stimpson, 1858 (see Davie et al. 2010; Shih et al. 2016), but the species has never recorded as far east as Ambon. Therefore the present identification should only be considered as tentative.
